RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring that the Baristas location and Aquamar Coffee area, are properly stocked, set up and open as scheduled.
- Knowledge on deep cleaning procedures of the espresso machine in Baristas and Aquamar Coffee area
- Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Executive Cellar Master any issue that needs solving.
- Monitoring guest flow in Baristas to ensure that beverage services are attended to for all guests.
- Preparing beverages in accordance to guests' preferences and in line with company policy and procedures
- Ensuring that personal assigned to work in Baristas and Aquamar Coffee area are well trained in company procedures and respective drink recipes, ensure good stock control and accurate charging to accounts
- Communicating effectively to ensure that personal assigned to work in Baristas and Aquamar Coffee area reflects the company’s values.
- Must be aware of all events and activities on the ship at all times.
- The Bartender Barista is over all in charge of the Baristas or Aquamar Coffee area and responsible for any shortcomings in regards to inventories and equipment.
- Must be fully knowledgeable of standard coffees, garnishes and presentations, as well as the olive oil menu offered in Toscana restaurant.
- During evening time, while assigned in Toscana Restaurant, must provide the following duties:
- Assist the Toscana Maitre D’ to escort the guests to the assign tables.
- Provide personalized service, using guest names.
- Offer the Dinner Menu.
- Must possess full knowledge of the Toscana menu, and provide menu explanation and recommendations (Daily Special).
- Present the specialty bread basket.
- Present the Olive Trolley and assist guest with their choice and emphasizing all items characteristics.
- Possess full knowledgeable of service procedures and standards, specific to the venue
- Assist the waiter in all aspects of the service, as well as taking dessert orders, whenever possible and assisting with service at large table (table 8).
- Possess knowledge of beverages, wines and spirits that are custom to the venue.
- Assist the wait staff to serve the hot beverages order such as coffee and tea.
