REQUIREMENTS:
•WSET Level 2 or similar qualification
•Previous experience in wine service, hospitality, F&B or a similar customer-facing role
•Knowledge of food and wine pairing
•Understanding of Old World and New World wine-producing countries
•Knowledge of sparkling, sweet and fortified wines
•Understanding of viticulture and vinification
•Experience with wine tasting and guest recommendations is an advantage
•Previous cruise ship experience is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Fluent spoken and written English
•Additional European languages are considered an advantage
•Excellent customer service and communication skills
•Ability to confidently recommend wines and suggest food pairings
•Strong sales mindset with the ability to upsell appropriately
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Good knowledge of wine products and willingness to continuously develop wine expertise
•Ability to use wine service equipment safely and responsibly
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene
