RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and maintain all floors and carpets in the main dining room and other dining venues, before,  during and after scheduled service times.   

• Clean up any spills in a safe manner during dining service. 

• Consider service level potential negative impact on guest service when handling spills during dining  service hours. 

• Handle all the cleaning materials, chemicals and machinery in a safe manner. 

• Participate in all assigned training programs to develop skills with the possibility for future  development and potential promotion. 

• Work with cleaning machinery as assigned by the ship.   

• Cross train on different machinery onboard. 

• Perform all duties according to Shipsan, the European sanitation program, and the 

• United States Public Health rules and regulations. 

• Monitor the cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and ship property used in the  execution of duties. 

• Use only authorized chemicals in accordance with instructions and approved training. 

• Attend departmental meetings and trainings as instructed.
