Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operational
Assist guests by:
- Responding to enquiries.
- Running errands.
- Delivering items as required.
- Handling luggage when requested.
- Helping them gain entry to their cabins.
- Direct all guest complaints to the Concierge.
- Ensure up keep of wheelchairs and wheelchair area.
- Assist guests with special needs during embarkation, disembarkation, and tours.
- Assist the Travel Concierge Desk by delivering tour tickets.
- Provide guests with accurate information about all ship services, facilities and activities.
- Deliver the content of the Bell Boy’s Box to guest suites promptly.
- Deliver newspapers, Currents and other relevant information to distribution point.
- Ensure the Reception desk, back office and Bell Boy’s areas are clean, tidy and in order at all times.
- Assist with loading and off loading of luggage and provisions if requested.
- Assist with relocating Guest from one stateroom to another.
- Set up and prepare the Captain’s meeting room with pastries and beverages before arrival in each port for ship’s clearance (R class)
- Set up the Captain’s meeting room with pastries and beverages for the various meetings held during the cruise.
- Collect beverage and amenities requisitions prepared by the Asst. Housekeeper.
- Prepare and deliver Champagne to the Concierge Level staterooms on embarkation
- In charge of Chemical locker; chemicals placement and general condition under supervision of Assistant Housekeeper
