Qualifications and skills required:

• A broad range of experience in acute care including, cardiac disease, trauma/orthopaedic and acute medical emergencies.
• A wide range of clinical skills, including care and assessment of acutely ill patients and management of minor injuries and medical conditions.
• The ability to work independently and as an effective member of a small team.
• Be passionate in delivering a high standard of care to our guests and crew.
• Candidates must be Registered Nurses with at least 3 years’ experience in an acute area such A&E or Medical Assessment Unit. Consideration may also be given to those with experience in Intensive or Cardiac care.
• Working on passenger ships at least a minimum of 2 contracts will be desirable.
• Current Advance Life Support (ALS) certificate and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly.
• STCW training certification.
