Viking Welcomes Eldir to its River Fleet

The delivery ceremony took place when the new ship was presented at Meyer’s Neptun Werft shipyard in Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany, where it was built.

Featuring 95 staterooms, the 190-guest ship was built specifically to navigate the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers.

Viking has taken delivery of the Viking Eldir, its newest Longship, the company said in a statement.
