Wartsila Presents New Wastewater Management Solution
Wärtsilä Water & Waste has introduced a grease trap solution that supports wastewater management onboard.
Called the Grease Trap, this is a modular product designed to separate fats, oils and grease from galley wastewater streams onboard merchant vessels, cruise ships and offshore platforms.
Available as of May 2026, the solution supports improved wastewater management and contributes to protection of the marine environment, Wärtsilä said in a statement.
