Disney Welcomes Wish’s Captain Maria Gotor
Disney Cruise Lines has announced the appointment of Captain Maria, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship captain, who has recently taken the helm of the Disney Wish.
The company said in a statement that Gotor is originally from Spain and studied law before a chance visit to a ferry boat’s wheelhouse sparked an interest in a career at sea.
After years sailing around the world, Gotor joined Disney Cruise Line in 2024.
