Quark Ships Catch Solar Eclipse Above Greenland
Guests aboard Quark Expeditions’ ships the Ultramarine and Ocean Explorer witnessed the total solar eclipse of August 12, 2026, from Harefjord, Greenland.
The first total solar eclipse visible from this region since 2015 lasted approximately two minutes and 15 seconds of totality, the company said in a statement.
This is said to be one of the longest durations of totality visible anywhere on Earth, as the path of totality crossed Greenland and Iceland.
