Whittier Cruise Dock Declared a Total Loss
The Glacier Getaway Terminal in Whittier, Alaska, suffered major damage from a dock fire earlier this week, according to a report by Anchorage Daily News.
Built by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) in partnership with the Huna Totem Corporation, the $80 million cruise terminal welcomed its first guests in late 2024.
The local news source said a spokesperson from the Alaska State Fire Marshal’s Office described the damage as a “total loss.”
